Have You Heard? 

Have you listened to the gentle waves
Whispering to the shore
In constant conversation?
No one could ask for more.
It soothes the soul and calms the mind;
A nicer sound is hard to find.
The pebbles and the sea shells too
Join in along the way.
Even tiny grains of sand
Have to have their say.
Back and forth, day and night,
Through the darkness, through the light,
