The restless waters far below,
Are seething with intent,
To smother rocks and beach with foam,
In rage, with no relent.
Whilst I in awe and wonderment,
Transfixed can only stare,
Humbled as a witness,
To Nature’s moods laid bare.
Tidal waters ebb and flow,
In estuaries, creeks, seas,
The mighty ocean.
These moody waters fill my eyes,
My soul captured in devotion.
O sea, how I love your many moods,
They drench me with emotion!
